Customer Reviews

Elephant Cafe was an intimate, educational, and exhilarating experience we will never forget. The speed boat ride to the cafe was fun and amazing to see hippos, crocs on your way. The food at the cafe was delicious and the experience with the elephants just amazing. Highly recommend this one in a lifetime experience. - Natalie

Our experience was not good, the staff was pussy and the experience met de elephants was extremely touristy and sad for the annimals. Additionally we had to cut our dinner because the bus was leaving ( at the request of other guests) and we were not given the chanteren to finish our drinks. All in all it was a disapointing experience for a very high price of 250 USD per person. We will not recommend this to other. Kind regards, Tea Hoogeterp and family - Tea

Hesitating over the price? Don't! This experience is worth every cent. We started with a thrilling jet boat ride down the river and over some rapids. The ride doubled as a river safari and we saw hippos, eagles, crocodiles and elephants even before arriving! The highlight, without a doubt, was the time with the elephants. Interacting with these magnificent, gentle giants was unforgettable. The staff were attentive and professional, and it was wonderful to have a photographer on hand to capture every perfect moment. The photos were sent to us the next day, but they also took a ton of photos with our phones as well. The evening was capped off with a gourmet dinner that was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece---a meal so good it's among the best I've had in my life. - Amy

Elephant Cafe was an amazing experience feeding the elephants and then being served an incredible meal. All around amazing experience in the Bush. From the boat (safari) ride up the Zambezi River to the Dessert everything was top notch. - John

The cruise and the elephant cruise were a perfect experience but in my opinion the food was pretty sub par. Whole chicken breast is never a very good choice and not something I'd expect at a restaurant calling themselves the best one in Zambia. I had much higher expectations for the food considering the price. The dinner felt pretty cheap overall, but the first two parts were perfect. - Martin
