Safari Par Excellence
Our experience in Mosi-oa-tunya National Park was a lovely one since everything was lush and green after the heavy rainy season 2025/2026. Of course, this did not help to see a lot of animals, as there was water enough for game everywhere to mostly stay hidden in inaccessible bush areas. However, we did see impala, giraffe, my favorite - a warthog - and elephant herds across the Zambesi in Zimbabwe. Also, we got to see plenty of birds, big and small and, obviously, the protected rhinos. Very impressive! But, most important for me, enjoy the quiet park. No vehicles chasing animals, no party noises. Our guide was patient and incredibly knowledgeable and he even found some older elephant footprints as well as the entrance to a warthog burrow, a special favour for my German guests that had never seen them before. 3 wonderful hours exceptionally well spent! - Elke
